Art to Wear Denim Garment

Technical Skills: Hand-Sewing, Embriodery, Crochet

Inspired by the Columbine Flower and Mandarin fish, two opposing subjects are combined to form a finished half-scale art-to-wear denim garment. With limited denim fabric and specified shapes as pattern pieces, a striking mix of lines and textures was created in this garment. This dress accomplishes an off-the-body look that is avant-garde. Other techniques such as embroidery and crochet were implemented into this look.
